Bona Fides Association and Local Action Group (LAG) Nouseva Rannikkoseutu are looking for 2 valunteer from Poland or residents in Poland, to join our European Solidarity Corps project in Liminka, Finland. Volunteers will work in the youth and culture sectors of the municipality. They will participate in activities arranged in local youth houses as well as creating new activities for and with local youth. In addition, volunteers will also be participating in activities of the cultural sector, e.g. working in the library and organising events like LimmiFest which is a celebration of local culture and history.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Local Action Group (LAG) Nouseva Rannikkoseutu develops rural areas across seven municipalities in Northern Ostrobothnia, Finland. In this project two (2) volunteers will work with youngpeople in the municipality of Liminka. The municipality has a population of 10 000, and approx. 40% of them are under twenty years old.
DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITIES
Volunteers will work in the youth and culture sectors of the municipality. They will participate in activities arranged in local youth houses as well as creating new activities for and with local youth. In addition, volunteers will also be participating in activities of the cultural sector, e.g. working in the library and organising events like LimmiFest which is a celebration of local culture and history.
ACCOMMODATION AND OTHER ARRANGEMENTS
Volunteers live in a dormitory in private rooms with en-suite facilities. Volunteers receive food money to prepare meals by themselves.

Working hours:
Approx. 35 hours /week. Working days are usually from Monday to Friday, but sometimes working time can be also during weekends.
PROFILE OF THE VOLUNTEERS
The profile of the volunteer will have general requirements: A high motivation to work with children, young people and elderly. Be creative and able organize different activities and events.
The volunteer has to be between 18 and 30 years, with: good integration capability; willingness to share experiences and cultural habits.
