Bona Fides Association is looking for Polish volunteers (aged 18-30) for ESC project in Ankara, Turkey with GENC GIRISIM EGITIM GENCLIK VE SPOR KULÜBÜ DERNEGI. The project’s duration can be SHORT-TERM (2 months) or LONG-TERM (6 months)!

ABOUT THE PROJECT
This project is aiming to build a relationship of locals with sport activities as an important social tool for having a healthy and inclusive life. The volunteers will give their contribution in this regard. The volunteers that will be hosted, will be involved in activities which offer them a personal development and same time contribution in local society by involving them and raising awareness.The volunteers that we are willing to host will take part in the planned activities which are fitting with their interests and abilities. Volunteers will increase the interest in the activities conducted and will contribute to the popularization of amateur sport among young people. In addition, volunteers, using their organizational and creative skills, will support the preparation and organization of international activities aimed at youth organized by the club.
Some of the activities, that will be implemented during the ESC experience are listed below:
• Collaboration with educational institutions and associations for the promotion of school sport;
• Collaboration with university and public entities for the development of sport activities;
• Promotion of the European youth programs to the young people in the community and participation in youth exchanges.
• To organize Cultural events (conference, seminars, art exhibitions, sport activities);
• To organize workshop on outdoor activities(sport activities where involving locals);
• To prepare presentations about Erasmus+ (YiA);
• To attend Turkish lessons two times per week;
• To give basic information about youth activities in universities: European youth opportunities;
• To update social media of the organization (Facebook page and databases);
• To participate in every special events organized by the organization;
• To participate in the meetings in high schools;
• To participate in every special events organized by the organization;
• To organize English conversation clubs;
• To organize intercultural activities;
• To organize National cultures/language workshop (presentations about their own culture, school activities with children/preparing presentations in schools like video, PPT etc).
Turkish Language Lessons are the compulsory part of the weekly schedule.
We will provide mentorship to the volunteers. Our mentor is experienced in Erasmus+ programme and is a local citizen which will support the adaption process of the volunteer in the hosting community.
Moreover, the volunteer will join the projects, which are implemented by experts and international and Turkish volunteers. Any contribution to improve the project is requested and welcomed. According to their interest, the ESC volunteers will have the possibility to join other projects, which are national or international and hosted by Genç Girişim. Thus, volunteers can spend their free times in effective and enjoyable way.

ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
Volunteers will be accommodated in an apartment pretty close to the center of Ankara. The location offers safety and security for volunteers and makes it easy to any kind of transportation. As there will be three volunteers hosted at a given time, they will share the apartment together. Each volunteer will have its own room (sometimes will share a room with another volunteer from the same gender) and will share the common space such as: living room, kitchen and bathrooms. The volunteer will receive: Food Money and Local Transport – Payments will be done cash in Euro Currency for each month. Pocket Money – (Payments will be done cash in Euro Currency each month). The travel costs will be reimbursed ( ) by the coordinator accompanied by the receipt of complete and original tickets, invoices, bills, boarding cards etc.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
We are looking for young motivated people who are ready to join our project. Additionally, we expect from them to be open minded, responsible, respectful and ready to join a multi cultural environment. They will participate in the implementation of the activities of their chosen sport – swimming, basketball, volleyball, football, table tennis and tennis. In addition, volunteers will participate in the preparation and implementation of international initiatives addressed to young people (sports and cultural exchanges, sports and language camps, sports tournaments for children and young people).
