Bona Fides Association and Associazione Joint are looking for Polish participants (citizens or residents of Poland, aged 18-30) for a volunteering team project “ESC Team For Healthy Life 3 | Cultural Exchange, Learning & Local Empowerment” with Cooperativa One in Crotone, Italy!

Description
The volunteers will help with the management of the hostel which will include: renovational activities and taking care of open spaces. They will also participate in activities in a farm and learn how to cook with local products, activities with migrants and an organisation that provide food for people in need, they will know the local newspaper and create contents for social media. There will also be the opportunity to participate in comics workshops, local dance classes & exchange of traditions.
The activities will take place 5 days a week and each month there will be 2 extra days off.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
● Pocket money: 17€ per day (the traveling expenses, visa and insurance costs are NOT included).
● Traveling expenses: not provide
● Accommodation: will be provided inside the hostel managed by the organization, inside a double/triple rooms shared with other volunteers with an inner bathroom.
● Food: will be prepared by the volunteers and shared with the staff during the activities.
Training during the opportunity:
The chosen person will get training on all required tasks. The tasks are practical and their impact will affect the improvement of the place. The basic information will be discussed together during training times, upon arrival, and during the month. Photos and videos will be required to document the activities during the month.
About the organisation
Cooperativa One, based in Crotone (southern Italy), aims to contribute to the socio-cultural and economic improvement of the area in which it operates through various initiatives: language and job training, innovative workshops for minors, activities to combat educational poverty, promotion of the local area, non-hotel hospitality, and the dissemination of a new concept of economy. It invests in young people while also supporting adults.
Volunteer Profile
The profile of an ideal volunteer is a person who is available for the entire 2 months of activities and has strong adaptability. We are looking for a person who is willing to get their hands dirty and provide ideas to get the place better.
Minimum requirements:
● 18 – 30 yo
● resident or citizen of an EU country;
● ready for team work;
● ready to share the spaces and the food with the team
● motivated and eager to learn
● adaptable and open-minded
● respectful of common rules
● Open to propose workshops in relation of their interest
● If possible some knowledge of video editing
