As an EVS volunteer with us, you will have the opportunity to broaden your view and widen your network with new interesting people. Our aim is that you will reach personal and professional growth!
Tepebaşı Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation are carrying out projects to balance income inequality, to support disadvantaged people and to strengthen social solidarity among people.
2 volunteers with our project are targeted to participate in the activities of Tepebaşı Social Markets which is one of the social projects of our foundation. The Social Markets target to help the people who are most in need in society by providing basic things such as food, clothing etc. free of charge. Several companies contribute to the market to support the project. At the same time, a food bank project will be starting up as a pilot project. This aims to distribute materials from supermarkets in the city that is still eatable/usable to people who are in need, but lacking the necessary funds.
So both projects aim to increase the solidarity and collectivity in society while working with food/material waste and consumerism.
With the support of our project, we aim to lead to collective participation, to raise qualified individuals who can cope with the problems they experience and support their personal development.
