PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Fattoria L’Arca is an educational and social farm, carrying out organic farming and the breeding of the semi-wild black pig of Calabria. It aims to create a place of educational, social and human exchange. For this reason it has always welcomed people who want to experience the rural lifestyle.
Agritourism guarantees us the means of support for all the other activities that have not been conceived for profit. In this way we can cultivate in a truly organic way, breed animals in health, without exploitation, etc…
VOLUNTEER’S TASKS
- Organic gardening.
- Taking care of the animals.
- Helping during educational workshops and guided tours.
- Cooking with local produce.
VOLUNTEER’S PROFILE
- MUST be aged between 18 and 30.
- MUST be resident or citizen of an EU country.
- Motivated and eager to learn.
- Adaptable and open-minded.
- Loving nature and animals.
- Willing to work early hours (starting at 6 AM).
