Le Créneau is one of the regional delegations of Solidarités Jeunesses. It is located in Montcombroux-les-Mines, in a rural area; and it has been acting for 25 years for social, educative and cultural local development.
The goal of this association is to put together people from different social and cultural backgrounds to create diversity in order to learn to live together, to get to know each other, and to exchange about your own experiences with respect and tolerance.
TASKS AND ACTIVITIES OF THE VOLUNTEER
This summer Le Créneau gives you the opportunity to express yourself in an inspiring environment. During 3 weeks you will share what drives you, with young people from different countries. You will be given the stage to build a collective art project from scratch.
- Week 1: Workshops and activities to share your vision and to build the message you want to tell the world.
- Week 2: Visits and meetings with local artists to learn about different types of expression.
- Week 3: Workshops by groups to create and implement an exhibition for the inhabitants of the castle and the surroundings.
ACCOMMODATION AND OTHER ARRANGEMENTS
The volunteers’ travel will be reimbursed according to the Erasmus+ distance calculator. Bona Fides will support them in planning their trip or buy the tickets for them, if necessary.
Hosting conditions will be basic, as participants will stay on ecological camping site. It is equipped with sustainable facilities, such as solar showers and dry toilets. Participants will sleep in a yurt, a tipi, a wooden dome and 2 barnum tents, all equiped with beds and wooden floor.
