Volunteer in Armenia
It’s hard to describe all the stories, experiences and adventures in one short article. I spent there a wonderful 11 months during which I had the pleasure of getting to know this beautiful country, people and culture. I won’t hide it, I fell in love pretty quickly.
My project was called “Disclose Alaverdi’s European identity and feel solidarity!” and was held at the NGO’s “Center for Community Mobilization and Support”. My tasks included conducting workshops with children and teenagers. There were English, artistic and cybersecurity classes, we designed a website together. During the days off, we made several trips to the mountains and played volleyball. We made a series of presentations with young people about the history, culture and differences between Armenia and Poland. We also managed to organize some first aid classes. In addition, I helped my organization in seminars, meetings, and ongoing work.
Of course, apart from work related to volunteering, there was also time for other attractions. I was sightseeing, traveling, getting to know people. Armenia is a beautiful country with great people. They help at every step. This is something amazing.

Ciężko jest opisać wszystkie historie, przeżycia, przygody w jednym krótkim artykule. Spędziłem tam wspaniałe 11 miesięcy podczas których miałem przyjemność poznać ten piękny kraj, ludzi, kulturę. Nie będę ukrywał, dość szybko się zakochałem.
Mój projekt nazywał się “Disclose Alaverdi’s European identity and feel solidarity!” i odbywał się w “Centre for Community Mobilization and Support” NGO. Do moich zadań należało przede wszystkim prowadzenie warsztatów z dziećmi oraz nastolatkami. Były zajęcia z języka angielskiego, artystyczne, z cyberbezpieczeństwa, projektowaliśmy wspólnie stronę internetową. Podczas dni wolnych odbyliśmy kilka wycieczek po górach oraz graliśmy w siatkówkę. Z młodzieżą zrobiliśmy cykl prezentacji o historii, kulturze, różnicach między Armenią i Polską. Udało się również zorganizować kilka zajęć z pierwszej pomocy przedmedycznej. Dodatkowo pomagałem mojej organizacji w seminariach, spotkaniach, pracach bieżących.
Oczywiście oprócz pracy związanej z wolontariatem, był też czas na inne atrakcje. Zwiedzałem, podróżowałem, poznawałem ludzi. Armenia to piękny kraj ze wspaniałymi ludźmi. Pomagają na każdym kroku. To jest coś niesamowitego.
