What an amazing experience! I spent 1,5 months in the international community in a French countryside. It was a great chance to open up and improve languages skills in both English and French. It was also fun to learn new words and phrases from my new friends and their languages.
It was wonderful to meet people from all over the world and share our traditions and stories. We had a lot of fun together. We also had time to explore and see beautiful places. I visited Lyon and Annecy. I tried traditional food and I can say that I love French pastries and cheeses.
The work we did was very different each day. We were cutting grass, other times we renovated a wall. We also cooked meals together, which was quite challenging for me to cook sometimes for more than 10 people! Setting up tents was another interesting task.
Overall, this trip was an awesome experience that I will always remember.
