Bona Fides Association is currently looking for motivated young people from Poland to fill last-minute ESC positions for a 12-month volunteering experience with Associació Obretebre in Catalonia, Spain!

1. Youth point in Tortosa city council (Spanish level basic, required)
Place: Tortosa city
Who we are
Youth Point in “Lo Carrilet” service is an office that belongs to the municipality of Tortosa. The activity of the Youth Point (Punt Jove), is to inform and help young people so that they can choose the best options for their present and future, creating equal opportunities. Every year more youngsters use the service, which makes the program grow in terms of participation. The aim is to encourage the creation of projects and attend to the needs of young people. For this purpose, there is a Youth Information Point and the services of health, work – entrepreneurship and self-
employment-, and educational guidance. A dynamic space is also implemented to offer meeting points and relationships between young people.
Volunteer’s tasks
🔹 Attention, information, and training: Help to direct public attention and phone and electronic attention and social media.
🔹 Help to organize and dynamize activities for youth and work with them directly.
🔹 Campaign to publicize the YIP in secondary schools and universities: Assist in the preparation of the talk; in the organization of the talks schedule and to perform it.
🔹 Organisation of events: Assist in the tasks of organizing activities: conferences, concerts, lectures, workshops, exhibitions, competitions, festivals, tours, Christmas park, fairs, excursions, etc.
🔹 Diffusion of ECS and local participation: the volunteers need to participate at least in 3 different talks (schools, radio, etc) to explain the experience, and to participate in 6 different local actions to get to know the community where they are living (environmental, social, cultural, etc.)
🔹 Personal Project: Preparing your project is a compulsory activity for your personal development. Always need to coordinate with your hosting organization.

2. Gepec (environmental)
Place: Roquetes town
Who we are
The main objective of GEPEC-EdC is to protect and improve the environment. To reach this milestone, we implement conservation projects and promote awareness among people through peaceful protests through public or legal reporting of environmental conflicts. We have always been an independent and transparent entity. Therefore, we act without political affiliations, governed by ethical and sustainability principles, based on respect for nature, environmentalism, and society. The essential pieces to develop our work are the partners and the volunteers: the real engine to defend nature from any aggression, and to maintain the independence of the GEPEC EdC.
Volunteer’s tasks
🔹 Organize activities in the garden
🔹 Inventory / repair / making educational material
🔹 Design and organize environmental and cultural activities (world day of environment)
🔹 Educational activities for different target groups
