Bona Fides Association and Dansk ICYE are looking for Polish volunteer (23-30yo) for a 1-year ESC project starting in August 2026 in Denmark.

About the hosting organisation
Dansk ICYE is a non-profit organization working with international exchange, intercultural learning, and long-term mobility programmes. We coordinate both ESC and ICYE exchanges, hosting volunteers in Denmark and sending Danish participants abroad. As a volunteer, you will join the daily work of the national office and gain insight into international youth exchange, project coordination, and NGO administration. The office environment is friendly, international, and youth-focused, with English as the main working language.

Volunteer profile
Volunteers must be:
• 23+ years old (required)
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Extroverted, open-minded, social, and proactive
• Responsible, organized, and reliable
• Empathic and respectful in communication
• Comfortable taking initiative and sharing ideas
• Interested in international cooperation, youth mobility, and NGO work
• Down-to-earth in solving problems and working with people
• Interested and experienced in social media and communication
Your role as a volunteer
The volunteer will become part of the office team and work both independently and together with staff and engaged co-workers.
Main tasks include:
• Administrative support
• Handling general office tasks
• Preparing documents, forms, and materials
• Updating internal systems
Communication
• External and internal communication (email, social media, newsletters, website)
• Creating content for social media (photos, videos, posts)
• Staying in touch with hosted volunteers together with the Danish co-workers
• Sharing updates about social events, camps, and activities
Support for exchange participants
• Helping volunteers navigate life in Denmark
• Motivating them to join community activities
• Supporting them with practical and social questions
Planning and participating in camps & events
• Helping design workshops or creative sessions during four annual training camps
• Participating in meetings, trainings, and national events
• Developing new activity ideas together with the team
IT & OFFICE SKILLS
Volunteers should be comfortable using:
• Microsoft Word
• Excel
• PowerPoint
• Canva – CapCut
• Social Media Platforms (IG, TikTok, Facebook)
• Creativity, design interest, or multimedia skills are very welcome.
What will you learn
During your stay, you will learn about:
• Management of international mobility programmes
• ESC and ICYE structures, procedures, and values
• Office administration and organizational work
• Communication strategy and social media
• Facilitation of workshops and youth activities
• Intercultural learning and global citizenship
• Networking with volunteers, NGOs, and youth groups
You will also develop:
• Teamwork and leadership skills
• A deeper understanding of Danish work culture

Practical information
• Working language: English
• Schedule: Weekdays, with occasional weekend activities (camps, events)
• Housing: Shared apartment (2 persons) near the city centre
• Volunteer will be provided with a bike
