Bona Fides Association is looking for Polish participants (citizens or residents of Poland, aged 18-30) for volunteering team project “ESC TEAM RISE II – GREEN MAINTENANCE” with Associazione Joint in Bordano, Italy!

About us
The project is in collaboration with Farfalle nella Testa, a cooperative that, since 2013, has been involved in communication, education on scientific, naturalistic, and cultural topics, event organization, territorial marketing, sustainable tourism, and strategic planning. Its main headquarters has always been in Bordano, where, since 2015, it has managed the largest butterfly house in Italy — one of the most renowned in Europe.
Project activities
The main activity will be outdoors: green maintenance & cleaning the lake shores in the area of ECOMUSEUM* and Bordano. (So the working days will be dictated by the weather).
(*An ecomuseum is a type of museum that focuses on the relationship between a community and its environment. It aims to preserve and interpret the local culture, traditions, and natural heritage, often involving the community in its activities and exhibitions. Instead of being confined to a single building, an ecomuseum typically encompasses a specific geographical area, highlighting its unique features and promoting sustainable development.)
The tasks also include cooking meals and cleaning the shared spaces. The cooking teams, which will change every day, will also be responsible for keep the B&B clean daily.
Additionally, all volunteers are expected to contribute daily to the promotion of the ESC project by participating in photos, videos, and interviews.

· visit to Venzone & Earthquake Museum;
· meeting with the seniors of Bordano;
· paint labs in the Butterly House;
· ceramic and crafts with migrants of Udine;
· rafting;
· flight approach and paragliding;
· drum circle;
· bike riding;
· yoga;
· cooking for the final party with all the residents of Bordano.

Practical arrangements
POCKET MONEY AND TRAVEL: The volunteers will receive an amount of 23€ per day to cover personal expenses
and travel costs.
HOLIDAYS: Vacation days will be: from 20 to 25 September. These days are not flexible. We encourage volunteers to take advantage of the time to travel.
On arrival training: first 3 days
Volunteers will carry out activities 5 days a week: for 6 hours a day. It is possible to have activities during the weekend, in that case the free days will be moved to the following week.
ACCOMMODATION: The volunteers will live in 2 independent houses with double or triple rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and a garden.
Note: there will be double beds to share.
After 1 month, a rotation of people between the two houses is required for Italian B&B regulations. We ask for your flexibility.
MEALS: The volunteers will cook through working shifts.
TRANSPORTATION: FNT provides cars only for transportation during activities and extra activities of the project.
