Bona Fides Association is looking for Polish volunteers (aged 18-30) for ESC project in Ankara, Turkey with GENC GIRISIM EGITIM GENCLIK VE SPOR KULÜBÜ DERNEGI. It’s possible to join 2-months short-time or 3-months long-term project.

ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
GENC GIRISIM EGITIM GENCLIK VE SPORT CLUB, established in March 2015, is an internationally active non-governmental organization deeply committed to youth development. Its comprehensive approach covers five key areas: sports, education, IT technologies and learning methods, social entrepreneurship, and agriculture-permaculture. The organization prides itself on its inclusivity, engaging all young people in sports, including those with disabilities, diverse backgrounds, and from economically disadvantaged backgrounds Driven by experienced trainers and a dedicated team of local and international volunteers, GENC GIRISIM focuses on equipping youth with essential soft skills and fostering a strong sense of volunteerism, crucial for both personal growth and professional life.
As an accredited ESC 50 LEAD organization for the European Solidarity Corps Programme, GENC GIRISIM plays a pivotal role as the Hosting and Coordinating organization for the ESC51 project, currently taking place in Ankara, Turkey. Beyond this, the organization actively supports young agricultural graduates in establishing and modernizing their farms and helps aspiring entrepreneurs through the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Programme. GENC GIRISIM also conducts various trainings and seminars and promotes sports among seniors through its involvement in Erasmus+ KA2 projects.
OBJECTIVES
This project aims to immerse volunteers in the entire lifecycle of a summer school, from initial planning to successful implementation. You’ll gain firsthand experience as part of a dynamic team, collectively shaping an inclusive, and impactful summer school that promises both fun and enriching educational experiences for all participants.
Volunteers will be involved in the following activities
Our volunteers are crucial to the success of the summer school, and their main functions include the following:
🔹 To propose various educational, entertaining, cultural, and recreational activities.
🔹 To brainstorm and develop ideas for activities and workshops, then to prepare and carry them out effectively.
🔹 To create a detailed summer school schedule that ensures both time efficiency and a rich variety of engaging activities.
🔹 To handle the full preparation of activities, including identifying and listing necessary materials, and arranging supporting services (e.g., group movements, meal times).
Beyond these core duties, volunteers are expected to:
🔹 To organize English conversation clubs.
🔹 To organize intercultural activities.
🔹 To organize national culture / language workshop (presentations about their own culture, school activities with children / preparing presentations in schools like video, PPT etc).
Moreover, the volunteer will join the projects, which are implemented by experts and international and Turkish volunteers. Any contribution to improve the project is requested and welcomed. According to their interest, the ESC volunteers will have the possibility to join other projects, which are national or international and hosted by Genç Girişim. Thus, volunteers can spend their free times in effective and enjoyable way.
