WILD VIBES PROJECT
Smokinya Foundation offers a 3-11 months experience in rural Bulgaria, where participants live and work together in a group of up to six people. This project includes shared responsibilities, communal living, and collaboration on various local initiatives. Participants engage in activities that support the local community, develop practical skills, and experience a community-focused lifestyle. The programme is designed to foster teamwork, adaptability, and a deeper understanding of rural life.
ACTIVITIES
Rural work:
Landscaping: tree planting, clearing paths, cleaning rivers
Using sustainable practices: using eco-friendly methods
Community projects: organise events for locals, support the community
Gardening: planting, maintaining, harvesting
Maintenance of a building: cleaning, organising, repairing
Photos/videos: capturing project activities and local life
Laptop work:
Collaboration: with local elderly, institutions, youth centres and corporate CSR
Creating digital content: promoting European Solidarity Corps and Erasmus+
Digital Outreach: creating visual designs, writing newsletters and publishing website articles
Email: coordinating projects and communicating with partners
Social Media: posting, photo, and video editing
Social Media Marketing: engaging the community through creative posts and regular updates across social
platforms
