Bona Fides Association is looking for participants from Poland (18-30 yo) for a youth worker mobility project “You Are Storyteller” International Training in Bulgaria with International Foundation for Y-PEER Development.
Place: Petrohan, Bulgaria
Dates: 14-21 December 2025
Duration: 1 week
Main Objective
To empower young people and youth workers to become effective storytellers and peer educators who use storytelling and public narrative as tools to promote human rights, intercultural dialogue, diversity, and social cohesion within their communities.
Specific Objectives
Enable participants to craft and perform impactful stories that inspire reflection and action on issues related to human rights, inclusion, and youth participation.
Familiarize participants with non-formal educational methods that use storytelling and public narrative to promote understanding, empathy, and civic engagement.
Encourage young people from diverse backgrounds to share their lived experiences, building mutual respect and a sense of belonging through storytelling.
Equip participants with skills to act as peer educators and community leaders who use narrative approaches to foster inclusion and youth empowerment.
Create a collaborative environment for participants to exchange ideas, methods, and successful storytelling approaches that address shared social challenges.
About the hosting organisation
The International Foundation for Y-PEER Development (IFYD), established in 2016 to support Y-PEER International, aims to contribute to the empowerment of young people by focusing on their sexual and reproductive health and rights, gender equality, youth participation, civic engagement, advocacy and peace building.
