The Civic Association Risks of internet and modern technology, Do not be a victim! is looking for two Polish volunteers to join their EVS project in Ostrava, Czechia.

PROJECT AND TASKS
It goes without saying that new technologies have brought plenty of new opportunities, but also some challenges which require urgent attention. For that reason, the main objective of this project is to emphasize on the dangers of cyber-bulling and irresponsible use of social networks by focusing on preventing education.
The role of the volunteers will be to support the job of the organization by carrying out administrative, planning and organizational tasks. They will therefore acquire new IT, project management and education-related skills while working together with a professional and highly motivated team. However, volunteers are encouraged to develop their own initiatives according to their own interests. Indeed, the hosting organization is opening a new community cafe in the centre of Ostrava where volunteers can run activities as for instance theatres, language courses, competitions or workshops.
TRAINING, ACCOMMODATION AND OTHER ARRANGEMENTS
Volunteers have ensured the accommodation in a nice flat which is situated in the city centre of Ostrava, very close to the office. There is a fully equipped bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, living room, and bathroom with toilet. Moreover, volunteers will have all house appliances including washing machine and Wi-Fi connection.
VOLUNTEER’S PROFILE
We are looking for 2 proactive and tolerant Polish youngsters between 18 and 30. Previous knowledge or experience is not required. However, a positive approach towards ITC as well as the initiative to organise own workshops, activities, courses, etc. will be appreciated.
