Strategic EVS in the Italian Red Cross

The Bona Fides Association and the Italian organization „Vicolocorto” are looking for volunteers for a strategic EVS in the Italian Red Cross in four different cities in the Marche region. Description: This project aims to involve about 100 European volunteers over 2 years in support of social animation activities to foster the welfare of communities in the 3 Regions that affect the Earthquake of 2016 (Umbria, Abruzzo and Marche Regions).

Details on vacancies and activities description:

1) Comitato Regionale Marche – Ancona (AN) – 2 volunteers
The volunteers will be involved in the activities of the Regional Committee of the Red Cross, which is the committee, which all the local ones refer to. In particular, they will take part in the activities of the social area and of the communication area:
– Activities in schools and in sports centres for the promotion of a healthy lifestyle;
– Informative and awareness campaigns;
– Collection of testimonies and experiences from the Local Committees of the Red Cross, in particular in the earthquake area;
– Support activities for the press office.
2) Comitato locale di Cingoli (MC) – 2/4 volunteers
The volunteers are involved in the activities organized by the CRI – Local Committee of Cingoli. It is located within the area affected by the earthquake between 2016 and 2017 and the volunteers will contribute to the following services:
– Support to daily transportation of elderly and disable people
– Support activities in the Nursing Home;
– Organization of social events and cultural presentations
– Informative and awareness campaigns.
– Activities in cooperation with the Red Cross youth sector

3) Comitato Locale di Marotta (Marotta, PU) – 2 volunteers
The volunteers will take part in the activities of the Local Committee of the Red Cross of Marotta, supporting their staff and volunteers. In particular, the volunteers will be involved in the following activities:
– Support to daily transportation of elderly and disable people
– Support activities inside the Nursing Home with elderly people;
– Support in the organisation and implementation of events organised by the Local Committee of Marotta.
– Activities in cooperation with the Red Cross youth sector

4) Comitato Locale di San Severino Marche (MC) – 2 volunteers
The volunteers take part in the activities organized by the Local Committee of San Severino, which is located within the area that suffered the earthquake in 2016 and 2017.
In particular, volunteers will be involved in the following services:
– Support and entertainment activities in a Nursing Home with elderly people;
– Activities of food and clothes distribution;
– Promotion and information campaigns in schools.
– Language courses and cultural workshops
– Informative and awareness campaigns.
