Bona Fides Association in partnership with IMAJ France and L’Europe en Gascogne are looking for a Polish candidate for a long-term ESC Project: “Ambassador of youth mobility in a rural area” in Auch, France!

About IMAJ
Our organization “IMAJ’” was born from a desire of the local council in Auch to create a structure to facilitate exchange, youth expression and to foster youth initiatives. IMAJ’ welcomes all types of audience: according to their needs, the association develops animation projects and prevention for young people as a priority, but also for the entire population of the territory. To do so, the association IMAJ’ has three tools:
1. Info Jeunes Auch
A friendly, anonymous and accessible place, where everyone can find a multitude of different information (local job offers, resources, contacts). IJ Auch is a member of the Eurodesk network. The team also offer support in setting up individual or collective projects (methodology, funding, partners). It is a place where the visitors can have access to modern digital technology, and offers to make new technologies (tools and uses) accessible to as many people as possible. The animators supervise workshops and multimedia projects.
2. An Europe Direct Centre Auch Gascogne Occitanie
As part of an Europe Direct network (420 centers across the EU), this is a local resource center for information on the European Union. We are regularly called upon to supervise or monitor initiatives with a European dimension. This is notably the case via the European Erasmus+ Program. IMAJ’ have always been a sending structure of European Voluntary Service and now the European Solidarity Corps.
3. A concert hall (CRI’ART)
More than just concerts programmes, Cri’Art offers rehearsal spaces, workshops (sound, light, electronic music), recordings, and a Music Info Point as well as artistic accompaniment.
General activities, tasks and organization (as example)
With the team, the volunteer will take part in all the activities of the organization with a particular focus on European information. The activities range from :
• Welcoming the public and the users of our different spaces.
• Documentation, creating newsletters, updating the website and the socials networks.
• Offering participation in all our activities: concert, exhibitions, animation with teenagers, multimedia project, youth information.
• Participating in local EU information/networking events: exhibition, debate, intervention in high school.
• Sharing your European experiences as a volunteer for a local audience: student, youth workers.
• Supporting and informing people about European projects, program Erasmus+, foreign opportunities, getting in contact.

Accommodation in a youth hostel in a private room (bathroom and kitchen) plus all the services: common rooms, internet, free activities.
Profile of the perfect volunteer
• Motivational, team working oriented, curious and open-minded.
• Self-confident and easy communication with kids, adults or people in general
• Taking initiatives and autonomy.
• Some basic knowledge of the French language.
• Comfortable using online technology: mail, social network (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), WordPress.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (ex: Canva).
• Artistic sensibility.
