Bona Fides Association and Arco are looking for Polish participants for 2-months Erasmus Volunteering Team Project: “THEATRE AND CIRCUS CULTURE IN MOTION” in Wiesbaden, Germany.

About the Project
This is a 2-month intensive project with 15 European volunteers. For 2 months, we will work alternately on theatre and circus skills and on supporting children and young people with these skills. In addition to the performances with children and young people, we will also develop our own theatre circus performance. The topic will be decided jointly by all of the participants and should relate to Europe’s situation and current world events.
The resources are a mix of “Physical Theatre”, “Modern Circus” and “Expression in Movement & Art”. The work is supplemented with movement meditation from Feldenkrais, yoga and impulse resonance learning. Overall, the work resembles a joint movement laboratory.
In impulse courses, the most important skills of the Arco play director card (youth director card) and theatre pedagogy are also taught according to Augusto Boal. In detail, the intensive project includes (schedule):
- – Training and education weeks
- – Theatre training in memoriam Augusto Boal and further development of his work
- – Accompanying three 5-day circus and movement projects
- – A training trip with the street theatre performances
- – Accompanying two 5-day theatre circus projects in Wiesbaden
- – A final performance
- – Accompanying an international youth project (Expression in Movement & Art)
Practical arrangements
Accommodation is currently organized. Participants should be open to share rooms and be partly located at the campsite. Travel reimbursement is according to Erasmus rates. Public transport ticket will be provided. The food allowance is 333€ per month + 7€ per day pocket money. Working hours are on average 30 hours/5-day week. Volunteers will have 4 days of vacation as well.
