Bona Fides Association and Associazione Joint are looking for Polish participants (citizens or residents of Poland, aged 18-30) for a 6-months ESC project with Cooperativa One in Crotone, Italy!

About the hosting organisation
One is a non-profit social cooperative based in Crotone. It was born after the positive experience made with the association Friends of German and the collaboration started in various sectors, especially in the linguistic and cultural exchanges. We operate in a territory in a process of development and where there is 64% youth
unemployment. Hence the desire to invest in the world of languages and cultural exchanges, to allow young people to have an extra chance to enter tomorrow in the world of work.
Project activities
Volunteers will carry out activities 5 days a week, it is possible to have activities during the weekend, but in that case the free days will be moved to the following week. In the first 3 days of the project you will have on arrival training when you will learn more about the rules, volunteers, and tasks.
Please note that if you are working or studying and need to dedicate time to those commitments, you will not be able to join this project. The project requires your full availability: activities may take place in the morning or in the evening, and you are expected to be flexible and present for the daily activities as well as for additional tasks during your free time when needed, time to rest and quality time together as a group.
OSTELLO CASA DI CHIARA: This will be the place where you will live for 2 months! Together we’ll take care of
it through maintenance, gardening and restauration activities.
COOKING TEAMS: Each volunteer will take part of a cooking group to prepare the meals for the volunteers experimenting new dishes adopting healthy ingredients for a healthy lifestyle!
CANTEEN: It’s a place managed by volunteers that go in the canteen every day to prepare the lunch for people in need. So you will help them in the preparation and distribution of the food.
CAMPER DELLA SPERANZA “ON THE ROAD’’: It’s an organization that works in food recovery for people in need. You will help them in collect food from bakeries, pizzerias and families to distribute to people in need.
COOPERATIVA TERRE JONICHE: It’s an organisation that manages a place confiscated from mafia. In cooperation
with ‘’Libera’’ a national organisation, they carry on activities with students and volunteers to promote legality and help them in the management of the farm.
ASSOCIAZIONE AGORA: It’s an organisation that provides reception and integration of migrants, prevention and social services in disadvantaged neighbourhoods and schools, and promotion of volunteering.
