Association du Centre de Beaumotte works for a social and cultural decompartmentalization. The association promotes the participation of all. It defends the construction of a sustainable world. It fights against an individualistic consumer society. It is therefore opposed to the logic of profitability. It claims the idea that all experiences are teaching forces. It opens up, enriches and participates in the sharing of practices and knowledge.
About the project
With this seminar, the Beaumotte Centre and Solidarité Jeunesses aim to offer an international space for reflection and experimentation on the intercultural dynamics at work within Erasmus+ projects. By bringing together people with diverse backgrounds, values, and cultures, these projects can give rise to misunderstandings and tensions, but also to real opportunities for learning and cooperation.
This seminar is intended for organizations active in the youth field, as well as youth workers, coordinators, facilitators, and young people involved in European projects. Its aim is to strengthen intercultural mediation skills, improve the quality of collaboration within international teams, and co-create strategies adapted to the realities of Erasmus+ projects. Through exchanges of practices, participatory workshops, and simulations, participants will be invited to share their field experiences and explore different approaches to conflict management.
Rooted in the values of popular education and non-formal education, the seminar is based on experiential learning, active participation, and peer-to-peer exchange. The collective and intercultural living environment of Beaumotte, in close connection with nature, turns daily life into a genuine tool for mediation and learning, fostering the development of tolerance, curiosity, and a sense of responsibility.
The seminars offer the possibility for youth professionals from different countries (around 12) to meet, to get to know each other better in order to work better together. It will also be an opportunity to exchange practices concerning our respective missions and to find solutions together to deal with the challenges encountered.
