Bona Fides Association and FEKETE SEREG are looking for Polish volunteers (18-30 year old) to join Short-Term Christmas TEAM Volunteering project in Hungary!

Who is this for?
For young people aged 18-30 who enjoy creative teamwork. We are seeking 10 international volunteers for a 22-day period.
About Fekete Sereg
Fekete Sereg was founded in 1997 as a youth association. The association’s goal is to ensure that the young residents of our village, Nagyvázsony, engage in productive activities during their free time. We aim to assist young people facing challenges and support community initiatives within the village. Our youth center has been running since 1999. Since 2005, we have actively participated in the EVS and ESC programs, hosting a total of 349 volunteers. We also actively promote and facilitate cultural exchanges between our volunteers and the local villagers.
What you will do
WORK WITH CHILDREN – You will visit a local elementary school and afternoon school twice and prepare some activities for children. You will also prepare the Santa Claus packages for the children, as per the tradition in the village.
LEARN ABOUT NEW CULTURE – To broaden your worldview, you will take part in different cultural activities such as
the Day of Nation, the Mediterranean Day and the International Day of Volunteering. You will also have the chance to go to Veszprém, the European Cultural Capital of this year 2025.
PREPARATION FOR DAY OF LUCA – You will take part in the local Day of Luca celebration — a special Hungarian winter tradition in Nagyvázsony. During the event, you will help with decorating, preparing small workshops, and sharing the festive spirit with the community through creative activities and games.
COMMUNICATION AND SOCIAL MEDIA – Visual documentation is important to us, so taking good pictures, updating our facebook and instagram (posts, stories and reels), making a short film and creating articles are also a part of volunteer work.
