Welcome to the “Be Volunteer Be Aware” project, an initiative based in Ankara, the vibrant capital of Türkiye. Our program is hosted by the Ander Team, a dedicated group committed to fostering community engagement, cultural exchange, and social cohesion through music and the arts.

About the hosting organisation
The volunteering activity will host 10 volunteers from EU countries and neighboring EU countries simultaneously for a period of 2 months. The Volunteering project gathers volunteers from diverse countries, backgrounds, and cultures, aiming to introduce a multicultural, cross-border dimension to the local and national activities of ANDER.
Activities will help volunteers develop their skills related to the fields of youth, culture, and inclusion.
Opportunities of the project
🔹 Volunteers will have the chance to attend any activity the ANDER organizes, will visit and work with many universities, youth centers, schools, and NGOs. Also, the first month of their activity is shared for specific courses for volunteers.
🔹 Turkish courses (4 hours a week)
🔹 Experience in non-formal education
🔹 Workshops in different topics
🔹 Discovering Turkish culture and historical places
🔹 Social events (festivals, folk dance workshops, cultural meetings, etc.)
Volunteers’ profile
🔹 Age between 18-30 years old,
🔹 To be interested in the project TOPIC
🔹 Willing to communicate with youngsters,
🔹 A good team player,
🔹 Responsible, creative, curious, open-minded,
🔹 Experience in creating social media content, Canva, etc.
