PROJECT DESCRIPTION
ALAS, Eco-Educative Community is a non-profit association, founded in Málaga in 2014 by education professionals, families and students who develop social educational innovation projects focused in the whole community.
As a volunteer you will take part in the project called ”’La Manada”, a home-school for children from 0 to 6 years old, which is an alternative to nursery and kindergarten education.
”La Manada” is a spacious, bright and cheerful home that has different environments and micro-environments to meet the diverse needs of children. We have recreated an educational, emotional, relaxed, safe, cheerful, playful and didactic space, in which every girl and boy finds what he needs for his evolution. And the volunteer will collaborate to make it possible. As part of the staff, the participant will help to organize different activities, such as workshops or events.
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
The accommodation, travel expenses, food and pocket money, local transportation, health insurance and language lessons are covered and financed by the European Commission.
VOLUNTEER PROFILE
We are looking for a youngster 17/30 years old, interested and passionate about working with small children. Nature lover and big interest about non-formal education. Creative and organized. Good at working alone or as part of a team.
