Bona Fides Association is looking for Polish volunteers for 2 months ESC individual volunteering project in Turkey with Sitoded – Sivil Toplum Destekleme Derneği!

DESCRİPTİON
Volunteers will work in different areas.
1. SİTODED Office Works: Volunteers will help our works (preparing new project, finding new partners, translate our webpage, social media activities, teaching their mother tongue to Turkish youngsters, plan games about entrepreneurship).
2. Erzurum Technical and Atatürk University: Volunteers will prepare some documents about Youth and Erasmus+, ESC, Eurodesk. They will go to our universities and they will meet the youth.
3. Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Policies Studies: Volunteers will meet with children who haven’t got family. They will prepare activities for them.
4. Erzurum Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism: Volunteers will participate in information activities in libraries, museums and historical sites. They will organize cultural and artistic activities at the cultural center and participate in existing ones.
5. Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality: Volunteers will plan and implement activities for women and disabled people.
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS
The volunteers will live in an apartment of 120 square meters the center of Erzurum with our Turkish volunteer. SİTODED office and volunteer’s home are very close. The apartment has 3 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, living room and a balcony. It is fully equipped with furniture, couches, independent heating system, washing machine as well as Internet connection. The organization will cover all the expenses of the house. Each volunteer will receive food and local transportation money at the beginning of every month. Also, volunteers will receive pocket money (236 Euro for 59 days).
TRAİNİNG DURİNG THE ACTİVİTY
Pre-departure training will be provided by supporter organizations. On-arrival training will be provided by hosting organization. Hosting Organization: Sivil Toplum Destekleme Derneği – SİTODED / Erzurum – Turkey. We are looking for 3 volunteers (Only male candidates can apply). Volunteers will work together in Sitoded Office Work and Universities activities. Volunteers will work individually in other activities.
PARTİCİPANT PROFİLE
Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Policies Studies and Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality: We are looking for volunteers from the fields of psychology, sociology, child development, pre-school education, special education, counseling and guidance.
Erzurum Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism: We are looking for volunteers who are from or have worked in the fields of tourism, recreation, library, history, fine arts. Aged between 18-30 years old. Able to communicate in English. Experienced in Sustainable Development Goals, Mental Health or Social Entrepreneurship.
